I hadn't really considered an M2, I'll have to look into it a bit more. I wonder if it's going to feel too sedan-y for me relative to the other options.

Another option I'd strongly consider would be the 2018 TTRS but just too expensive right now.
Nah M2 feels like a smaller sports car, it's about E46 size. It won't feel like a tiny 2 seater roadster but it doesn't feel like a family sedan either. It's nimble and fun to drive and has good torque and really good turn in. There's a CS version coming with the S55 M3/M4 motor and some CF goodies, it will be pretty epic since it's already pretty fun with the N55.

I really wish I could test drive the shelby and evora. It's so hard to decide without firsthand experience behind the wheel.

You should drive them both. Such different yet sensory experience in both cars. How far or close is a Lotus dealer to you? For me, that would be major decider in buying a Lotus; proximity to a dealer.

There are a couple close to me but they don't have any used Lotus' in stock, just new 400s.

Please don't buy the GT350. It's my next car when i pay off my current. I want there to be nice low mile versions with some depreciation. Do not even drive it, because then you are fooked, believe me.

Meh Lotus dealers suck, most of them don't have dedicated techs and/or share a tech with Jag or some other brand. If you buy a Lotus pretty much consider yourself on your own unless you know someone in the company like Simkin that can help you out.

I had the local dealer put a hole in my clam while trying to put my car back together for the oil line recall. I was in a XF loaner for 3 months.

There will be a ton, trust me. But there's alot of people waiting for it to hit the 40k mark who will jump on them. I didn't want to wait but I got mine for 10k off sticker for a less than a year old car with under 10k miles, with an extended warranty and maintenance plan, not uncommon.

That's a great deal! Be sure to post photos and a review when you get some time.
