Default 50-60K for the best Sports Car! Help....

I am going to upgrade from my S in the spring and my Budget is 50-60K but I have some criteria here....

1st, I want a car thats fairly reliable.... well reliable in this catagory of vehicle....

2nd, the car must hold it's value or at least not plummit years after purchase....

3rd, want to be able to get service as needed not having to drive to a neighboring state for such....

4th Car can not be a fortune to maintain

5th looking for exotic looks, great styling and performance.....

OK, my criteria narrows the field but here is what I am thinking, please share your thoughts.

NSX = 1st choice 2002-2003 NSX (IMO fits almost all the catagories above)

Porsche 911 = Next choice a P car (Porsche) could be a GT3, water cooled pre 1999 model or other, or even a unique model 2002 year..... I would need to do research here to narrow the field.

MB AMG = Thinking SL55 or other? Open to options.....

Others please fire away!!!!!!!! what about a 01 ASTON MARTIN VANTAGE VOLANTE have seen in the 60K range with low miles? Or a F355 but just heard they are huge bucks to maintian and to fix..... not a lot of options here it seems. Resto-mod?

I live in Mass/RI area.....

A C6 Corvette looks like it'll do for you.

Without getting people upset, as I do love the vettes, it just doesn't have the factors I want. Looking for something a bit more on the exotic-like looking side. Vette, is actually a most logical choice up there with the NSX under most of the criteria list I agree but IMO, for my taste just not there.....

In that case i would consider a late model 911, keep in mind though their kinda expencive to maintain too.

Of those the NSX will hold it's value the best. The Ferrari 355 is not going to be 60k for years unless there is something wrong with it and maintainence will KILL YOU!

For 60k if you can avoid the markup why not get a GTR?

Having owned an NSX, I wouldn't recommend it. At least in this day and age...maybe 5-6 years ago, but not today. Too many better cars for that price range. Again, just speaking from experience.
