'97 Del Sol(B16) or '01 BMW Z3 3.0

I'm on board with the AP1.
I've never been a fan of either of the other choices presented. I think the Z3 is busted ugly, but it does handle nicely. If you have the skills to DIY maintain a BMW, that would be my choice if I'm forced to decide.

I'm with everyone else here regarding the ap1. Get an ap1, used sos blower if you can swing the $$ and be done. If you want more acceleration swap to 4.44 FD.
I was never impressed with the Del sol. Looks great on paper but drove like a wet noodle. The thing flexed over painted road lines.

What about??
I found a Del Sol...B20B VTEC...
with ground control coils....looks
to be in great shape with some NA mods
apparently pushing WHP to 235!! $3800.
I think the B20 was a bit of a torquey engine as well!
Also found a Del Sol..no mods but a B17A swap and suspension
upgrades..great wheels as well..$3000.

DEL SOL!!! i loved mine when i had it. Mine was also the vtec model and i sold it within 3 days of listing it. Because if anyone is looking for a del sol. They want that one. Just run a hose along the roof seal to make sure it doesnt leak. Because there expensive to replace and a p.i.t.a to swap.
