One out of every 200 registered 1999 Acura Integras was stolen last year, said Chicago-based CCC Information Services Inc., an insurance industry tracker of theft and vehicle damage. The list compares loss claims to the total number of registered vehicles.

This is one thing that held me back from getting a Integra Type R a few years ago..

Interestingly the bottom of the top 25 list is 2000civic.....Maybe people steal the integra for its engine and put it in 2000 civic?

How can the M roadster be number 2? is this most stolen per car produced or something? There just weren't that many of them made!?!?

this list is PER CAPITA. This is the most accurate way to establish the risk of your car being stolen. The most stolen cars are the ones there are the most of...camrys for example. This list is the % of cars stolen in that car's population, not the total number of cars.

true, there are not many M roadsters, but a 2002 is targeted due to the hot motor that can be put into other M roadsters and coupes, not to mention E36 M3s.

BTW, the GSR and ITR thefts are even more dramatic as they represent probably 10% or less of the Integra population!
