Default Acura RSX type S

Hey everyone,

I'm thinking about buying an Acura RSX s as a daily driver. The displacements the same as my s2k but about 40 hp less. Anyone know about the performance, mods available? I don't know anyone who has one to find out how they really like it.

Dude,

Why bother with the RSX for a daily driver? Its not that much differnt in practical terms than the S2000. Sure its a hatchback, but you aren't gonna get that much more in that car. I would buy yourself a hardtop for your S2K for 3000 bucks and save yourself 21,000 bucks.

If performance is not a big issue for your daily driver, take the new Mazda Protege into consideration.

My roommate has one. Very nice car, makes my miss my GSR sometimes. A hard-topped S2000 is not even close to an RSX's practicality. Rather expensive for a second car though, isn't it? For the combined price of an RSX-S and S2000, you could get an M3 convertible.

Could you state your main reasons for saying this? I'm not saying you're wrong, in fact I think I might agree, but I'm trying to gather other's opinions on the differences between these two cars. I may purchase one later this year. I have examined both cars up close, but I haven't test driven either one.
