Default addicted to vtec?

So i sold my s the other day, and almost cried when it was being driven away. Its been two days. I miss vtec.... so i bought a red 1994 integra gsr with under 100k miles with a new clutch, flywheel, brakes, and tires for $4000. This car is just here to get me through college so i wont have a car payment (i was looking at a mazdaspeed6 and bmw 3 series coupe) and still have a little fun. Cant wait for 3 more years to go by when i can buy an s2000 again..... wish my parents paid for my school like everyone else i know around here

smart financial decision! I'm sure if you're making those decisions now, you will be buying more than an S2000 later. Good luck w/school

You're putting your financial health before your emotional health- not good.
Buy another S

Is this a joke? I waited until after I finished college before I purchased my S. And I can tell you, his "emotional health" will be much better when he finishes school and make $20,000 more a year than he did before.

I do hope you're joking because, if not, it's the retard comment of the week.

To the OP, good decision. I interned while in college and got a lot of cash. It, of course, was burning a hole in my pocket, so I traded in my 2 year old PAID OFF '97 Prelude for a '99 Cobra. Even though I was paying for the car, my parents were helping with college. They went ballistic and I was forced to return the Cobra and get my Prelude back.

Long story short, after I graduated college I got a new '01 Vette. Well worth that extra year of waiting. I was in MUCH better financial position to get a nice, new car AFTER college than buying one while in college and putting myself in a hole from the start.

That story sounds like the opposite of mine. I had an '98 Integra (albeit a GS with an automatic) going into college. After I got a co-op job, I saved up the money and bought the S2.

It had to be tough watching that nice black car driving away... it would've made me sad for sure.

IMO, you have enough to worry about in school. You shouldn't have to worry about a car payment on top of that.

At the same time, you could do a lot worse than a 94 GSR.

Good luck
