Scuderia would be more comparible to the S2000 of the two, so my pick would be the scud.

Otherwise an SLS AMG
Except the SLS sucks.
Cramped, looks ridiculous, gearbox is boring (compared to other choices), handling is subpar, the door sills are too tall, the interior is meh, etc, etc

The only good thing about the SLS is the noise it makes. that wonderful noise...

also, someone mentioned a 458. Yes, it's a better car, overall, than a Scud... and if you could find one for under $200K, then it would be the perfect mix between 599 and 430 Scud.
You are probably right But that noissssse! It erases all the cons for me! Especially the sound of the convertible that just arrived, that one is even better!

Out of the two you mention, scuderia because of the fact it's your weekend fun car and if I were to buy a Ferrari it would be one from their hardcore line, gto, cs, scuderia etc. But if you want a raw weekend car, why not get a Porsche gt3? As someone else said, just because you can spend that much doesn't mean you need to. If I was given 200k I would buy either a ford gt, sl65 black or slr.

I'd say go for the CS, a friend took me around VIR in his and I fell in love with it, the CS is a "raw'er" car than even the Scud and far more so than the base 360/430/458. If you're simply looking for something quick I'd say wait it out a year/18 months and pick up a 458, the power difference between the F430 (only driven the regular F430) and the 458 is significant. Another friend has both a Scuderia and a GT3 RS, guess which stays at home for track days?

Meh... if I was buying it with the intention of driving it on the street, I would prefer the standard 430 or 458. The Scuderia without a doubt has more swag and will win you more e-peen internet points, but I don't think I could put up with it on the road. Oh, and for $200k, I better damn well drive it more than once a month.

If you need salesmen I know one. Works out of Boardwalk Ferrari in Dallas. It's a she, she is hot, and knows her chit. She could probably find you one whatever you decide on.
