Alex Zanardi NSX

Absolutely. Im not going to purchase this car. As I stated earlier 1997-2001 are the years I aim for. I simply have never seen an advertisement or even photos of a Zanardi until recent. The only ones I viewed were on google images. If/when I get my NSX, the first thing would be coilovers (KWV3 or Clubsports may even keep it stock), then NA2 wheels or other lightweight wheels with good offsets. Also, I have been debating supercharger or SOS twin turbo, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there. Hell, Im not even in the country yet. LOL

I had a 2005 NSX (last year made) and was not overyly impressed with any part of the car, especially for the $. It looked awesome but didn't handle anything awesome (factory alignment was confirmed two times at dealer)..290 hp (an MDX has more), etc....
I got rid of mine in 2007 for about $60k and the same car today is still going for $60k... doh...lol...
Drive one before you buy one... too many advances in cars since then... it was nice but not awesome and certainly not for the $90k sticker

I think looking for a 97+ coupe is even harder than a Zanardi.
No I would not buy a Zanardi for 100k no matter how low the mileage is or how many mods it has. For that money, I would buy a pristine 993tt with some money to spare.

This is from Road & Track - 2002 NSX vs 2002 Z06 Vette vs 2002 Porsche911
Skidpad = .91 NSX, .97 Vette, .91 porsche911
700ft slalom = 65.8 NSX, 67.5 Vette, 67.6 Porsche 911
Not bad handling numbers...I had mine checked at the Acura dealer and it was within Factory specs.... The NSX was about par with the Z06 and 911 but things have gotten way better in the last 10 years.... a stock M3 will kick an NSX's ass in every department now (other than looks)....
I think when I had mine I was expecting it to be AWESOME... I took it drag racing and got a 13.5 which is quick but not awesome... they definitely look great... add 200hp and a good alignment and tires and it would be pretty neat.

I'll tell you where the NSX triumphs over many cars that are 'better' otherwise in performance. Visceral feel.

People who eat this sh!t up always amuse me. The NSX is not the Visceral phenomena it likely once was.

I cross shopped the NSX and C6 Z06 when I was in the market. There was something about the driving feel of a NSX that convinced me that this was the car to own despite the higher entry fee.
