The cylinder walls are not the problem, and really nothing else is either as long as you stay in the 6lb boost range and have a good tuner. If you start going beyond that forged internals are in order.
Best bet for what the OP plans to do with his car is the Magnuson. Very near stock drivibility and mileage when you are not on it. LPE will even throw in a warranty on their package.

A used Z06 (low 40s) and a few N/A mods would be another option.

Forget getting beat by a little civic in a drag race. Take the vette to a race which involves turns, and eat the understeering Honda up.
