Default Another thread asking for car advise

My current daily driver (actually, it's my GF's car) is a 1995 Civic DX Coupe with most everything broken on it, and I'm looking to replace it.

I'd like to get something for about 10k, and at most 15k total, including tax and license. What I'm looking for is something which get's good gas mileage, is versatile, and a little fun to drive.

I've currently got a S2000 and an 1998 Accord. The reason why I don't use the Accord as my daily driver is because it's also a 2 door, I've got 3 cars, and 6 doors. I need something more practical.

The cars on the top of my list are so far...
Honda CRV, preferably the 2nd gen introduced in 2002.
Newer 4 door Civic
Integra. Possible 4 door, but 2d is at least hatchback and can carry a lot.

Anyone got any other suggestions?? Any words on the cars on my list? Remember, good gas mileage(28+), reliable, practical, and a little fun. I've got no Toyota's on the list because most are boring...

Thanks in advance.

You might like the Matrix/Vibe - very versatile and fun to drive, but only avg acceleration. I owned a Vibe standard and averaged over 30 mpg. With GM rebates plus GM credit card plus power equipment group, I was at $14k TOTAL. Used ones must be super cheap.

I've driven a few CRV's and they are awesome as well - a little more practical and a little less fun to drive. Like all Hondas they hold their value well.

We have an '03 CR-V. I wouldn't call it 'fun to drive', but it's a great car for what it is. My wife loves it.

I've had a 98 and now have an 02 CRV. The 98 was gutless and had wallowy suspension. The 02 is awesome! I drive it more than my s2k.
