Current owner. 94. No headaches to mention. Also had a silver 93 I sold a couple years ago, DD'd it for a few months in the hot summer, no issues.

Had this for 3 years after my s2k. Loads faster (street port) and sexier, but there will always be a spot in my heart for my s2k. Arguably more fun

The FD is no longer in Tampa, b/c the roads here SUUUUCK.

Where is ZX12 (or was it ZX10) guy? He was fun. He also had a love for his RX7.

Damn! Those some sexy-looking RX7s! I never thought they looked as sexy as many people claimed.

I wish I could own an FD... IMO it is one of the most beautiful cars ever made.

My first car was a 1985 RX-7.

Bought it in 1994 with 54,000 miles and sold it a few years ago with 76,000.
I'll scan a pic and post tonight, but looked like this:

I owned three of them... Love/Hate relationship is the best way the describe my overall experience.

93 VR Base
93 VR R1
93 MB Touring

I actually sold my 07 S2K to buy my last RX7 however I only kept it for six months before I re-learned that FD's are money pits and sold it.

I love FD's and it's definitely one of my dreams cars but the reliability issue just bothers me enough to where I won't get one till I'm a rich bastard

Each of my 94's I owned were very reliable... of course I got rid of both with <40k miles on them.

Mine was stolen and stripped by a douche bag this forum has experience with. Some of you may recognize it....

(skip to 2:30 ish if u want to get right to my car)

Here is how I got it back
Gutted to the core, Stoptech brakes, JIC coilovers, rays 5ziegen wheels gone

$8000 AV system gone

Gauges ganked

Custom engine build by pineapple racing, gone

I miss that car so much I had tons of cash invested in it, all gone. Sadly, you cant find one of these in good condition without paying 10K cash, which Isnt possible now that I am married with a house and obligations =(
