not sure if this car will ever make it to the USA but at 2400lbs (or so) and 375hp it should kick some ass... a 3200lb 350hp Evora is mid 12's in the qtr, so the Exige S has to be in the 11's (ya ya ya..i know it wasn't made for drag racing) and a hell of a lot of fun. Pretty sure on any reasonable road course it will give just about anything a good run...

I think they are just now delivering them in Europe. Anyone have a real link to real performance #'s?

The Exige lap time is not all that impressive. It's only 0.5s quicker than a base 991 Carrera.

i didn't watch the video but what the hell.... it has almost as muhc hp and weighs 600lb less.... maybe conditions were drastically different?

All the timed laps were done by the same driver. I got the impression from reading the feature in the magazine that the lapping was all done on the same day.

i saw the magazine at Barnes and Nobel tonight and the track musta been pretty tight... mclaren at 1:02.8 vs Lotus at 1:04.4... 1.5 second difference must not have had much of a straightway with as close as those times are.

The few visual updates they did to that car were just right. Really updated the appearance and made it look a lot more aggressive. Adding horsepower to match the looks was also done perfectly (just right amount of power).

Wish they would bring these stateside.
