Yawn. How many different threads on this overrated car can you create?

I love this part:

"(A nonturbo, 128i-badged version starting at about $30,000 will also appear in American showrooms, but our drive was limited to the 135i, which we expect will cost approximately $5000 more.)"

*Flashback to two months ago and the 135i nutriders were all saying*

No really. We're going to be able to buy a 135i for close to $30k.

*Flashback to reality*

Now what's up? $40k+ out the door. That's what I thought. Get that weak shit out of here.

Oh yeah...and it still weighs close to 3,500 lbs. Double yawn.

It's smaller than the 3-series, and smaller is better.

What surprises me about all the negative comments is that tons of people here are always complaining about how car companies should make smaller and lighter cars. And now BMW has apparently done that. So where is the love?

And trust me, I'm far from a BMW fan. But the strategy of this car makes sense.

I'm still not sold on this car. It looks like it's sagging in the middle. The power sounds nice. I wish it weighed less if in fact it does weigh 3500lbs. At ~40k I would pick other cars.

I like the idea behind the car, but it's let down in the looks departement. The "sagging" look it has in the middle of the car detracts severly from it. It should be a preformer, but I can't see me buying one when it looks like that.
