Got bored searching for Best Motoring Vids on Youtube. Turns out I found one that I hadn't seen before but thought it could help you guys out as well! They run it on the touge and track!

Those are not the S2000 competitors; they're all much more expensive. S2000 competitors WERE the base Z4, base Boxster, 350Z roadster, etc.; at least in price.

What year was this filmed? The Corvette they used is 5 years old.

lame that they used the amg version and used base models for the other cars. BIASED motoring i guess.

It was filmed in early 2004 and the video in its full length was more about comparing open top cars to the then new Mercedes. If you watch more of the video series you will see that they are actually biased in favor of the S2000. The rest of the sports car world moved on and Honda rested on its laurels and left the S2000 model relatively unchanged over its 10+ year lifespan.

These vids are still fun to watch.

In reality the s2000 came in 2nd behind the boxster S. Theres no way any of thos car could compete with the amg's speed.
