BMW 3 series help
Gonna get my wife a 3 series. looking at 2002 or 2003. I have a few questions.
there seems to be a big difference in kbb value for these two years, even if the 03 is out of warranty by miles, it is 20% more than the 02 with very low miles, any reason for this?
does the 330 really get better mileage than the 325?
thanks
Dave

It may also be a magic "three year" thing. BMW can and does sell CPO (certified pre-owned) cars but they only guarantee recent models. I'm thinking up to three years old. That'd make cars inside of that age worth some bump up in price.

I think the 02' and 03' models have a price gap because they improved the 03' slightly.

WRT gas mileage... my wife's '05 330i with the performance package (ZHP option) and six speed manual transmission gets over 20mpg in town and 28-30mpg on the highway cruising at 75-80mph. I would expect most 325/330s with a manual transmission to get similar or maybe even better gas mileage.
She her car almost as much as I do my S2K.
