my family (especially my aunt and uncle) love range rovers. Sure they are underpowered and the early one had reliabilty issues nothing is better than a 2002 4.6HSE in the SUV world to us, we currently have a 98 4.6HSE with 89k miles on it and no issues. Correct me if im wrong but i remember hearing about the BMW 4.4L enigne (same as in ur 740iL and X5) as being used in it. STill though, range rovers handle well, not to the level of the X5 but they dont ride as rough. Not to mention that trick air suspension that raises or lowers the car 5inches, im pretty sure the new one has it too. range rover, in short, is our family's fav SUV (considering the 7 my immiediate family has had over 6 years, even granny is driving a 99 4.6, and i had a 97 4.0 till it went dead at 130k miles).
