BMW M3 or Nissan GTR

GTR b/c RACECAR
I would choose it b/c it has better road presence. No doubt you would see less of them. Better resale value. Better performance and more accessible performance(low end tq vs revving out the M). I drove a 4dr M3 and wasn't very fond of it. So much so that I enjoyed a pedestrian by comparison S4 more.

Well, I was just making a joke that someone usually suggests a car you didn't include in your question. But the 991 will be $$ competitive w the GT-R if you order it and don't go overboard on options. And it has 400 hp, lighter than the 997, etc.

if u had the money, which one would you buy? BMW M3 or Nissan GTR? And why?
However, for a 6 month lease I would choose the GTR and beat the snot out of, it would be a goof.

For me, M3. It's cheaper to own and operate while still plenty fast for street driving. It's lighter, arguably more driver focused (better steering feel), comes with a true manual transmission option and is a great looking car.
Money to buy is not money to maintain. They will have similar costs for tires and probably oil changes but the rest will be far higher for the GT-R. You also have to find a "GT-R Certified" dealership to do the work for you to hold onto your warranty, which may not be easy (depends where you live).
If someone else was paying the tab, I'd pick the GT-R all day long. I just don't like paying supercar prices to maintain a car so my own money would go to an M3...
