I'd take the Subaru

I think my next daily-driver will be selected from this category. Just based on website shopping (no actual test drives), I'm liking the Subaru.

By far I think it's the best looking. As usual, the first half-generation Accord looks unfinished to me - I'll be interested to see the mid-gen refresh. And I'm just not feeling the Sonata styling. I kept thinking it reminded me of that fugly hoopty Benz, and page 4 of the article suggested that I'm not the only one.

I will drive the Hyundai to see what I think of what on paper is the most advanced engineering available. I am in the market for a sedan and was dissappointed with the driving dynamics of all Toyotas, liked the Fusion drive but not the package overall, and am simply underwhelmed with the current Honda offerings. Looked at 1/2 year old BMWs with a worry about reliability (based upon personal experience) and others in the luxury category but mileage and bang for the buck are less appealing.

Like it or not the Hyundai is the brand which continues to lead with product, price, and warranty.

If I were to buy a car that I'll use as an appliance, and plan on keeping well after the payments are done, I'd take the hyundai sonata in a year or two when the hype dies down so I can haggle. Why? 10 year 100K warranty. Let's face it, all cars are prone for dealership visits these days, people been saying oh well that's fine, but I'll get the toyota because I don't want my car to be in the shop, and look at where toyota is at now.
