I like the old guage cluster better...... its a little over done now, kinda reminds me of the guages in the Chevy HHR... but everything alse looks much better.

I also agree about the STS... I thought it looked good as well.

Same old cheap-ass, can't-be-bothered-to-center-the-image, grade Z parts-bin plastic buttons as always I see.

The more things change...

They look nice, but they feel REALLY cheap.

Interesting observation. I never noticed that the images on the buttons are haphazard... and that plastic used for the buttons looks a little suspect. It's the little details like that which undermine all of the effort that's put into upgrading the interior. Still, this is much better than the previous version.

Exactly. If Honda can get these details right on our $23k Accords (nevermind my $30k Acura), why can't Cadillac do it on their $50k SUV? The details are what make a premium SUV worth $50k; otherwise why not buy the $30k GMC or Chevy version?

I like how the old CTS had a radio control dial right on the steering wheel. It reminds me of those early '90s Pontiac Bonneville with those HUGE plastic buttons on the shifter console.

Point of thread: Display pictures; feedback. I don't believe anyone described the feeling of any of the interior materials. Reminds me why a certain person should be ignored.

[QUOTE=no_really,Aug 5 2006, 12:10 AM]wow, amazing how some of you can touch things via photos, or see things in photographs that either aren't there, or don't look like what you see in your head.
