IIRC, the Cayman and the new Mustang both get about 1.0g on the skidpad. It's not too unreasonable, then, for a well modded Mustang to be faster through a corner.

Particularly if it's a very smooth road.

Edit: After rereading your post, I realized that I have no idea which Porsche you are talking about. Do you mean a Cayman, a Carrera, a Carrera GT, or a Carrera GT3? They're all very different machines.

"handle better" or have more grip?

Throw some high quality suspension and R-comp rubber and you can pull big skid pad numbers but you wont have the same handling feel...

So... let me get this straight:

You got into a stupid argument with a friend about his car (a Mustang) beating a "Porsche Cayman GT3 Carrera" in "a curve."

He told you that you are wrong.

You then came on the internet to try and get advice on what to say in return?

If that's the case, here's what you can say to him. Try this: "Hey, grow up you dumbass."

I suggest practicing your delivery in the mirror several times first.

^LOL.

Nah, a bunch of mustangs have IRS, they're boats, but with enough money that weight can be dropped - then you lower it alittle and sticky rubbers, I dont see how it cant be fixed?
