i am not in the market for a viper or anything really.... i was just curious how hard it would be to make a viper handle just as well but for way cheaper..

^ A normal viper with a quaife diff and some sticky tires (lots of traction problems with a viper) makes an excellent, reliable track car. Why bother trying to make an ACR out of it?

I'd suggest a used one in this economy, lots of good deals are out there.
The only Porsche's I've come across on the track that can keep up are the GT3 and GT3 RS with good drivers.
If you're bored come out to MSR-Cresson this coming weekend (Dec. 6/7) and I'll take you out for a session or two.
