And the S2000 CR is almost 2 seconds faster than the Elise SC?

Surprising results in this test:

Elise SC
Cobalt
IS F
Civic Mugen Si
STi
What's surprising about the Civic's performance?

If the Cobalt SS wasn't a GM/American car you people would be lined up at dealer waiting to get one. Your hate of all things GM is as old and crusty as a 1971 Chevy Vega driven around in Minnesota.

Delete this thread, quickly, before the GT-R haters see this because it performed remarkably, as usual.
1 seconds slower than the F430 Scuderia at a fraction of the price. The GTR is a friggin' beast. Whoever hates on it is as smart as a pigeon turd left baking in the sun on the hood of their S.

Not just towards Cobalt SS here, there are too many comparisons that confuse me here. I'm a firm believer of huge differences driver can make. IS-F being just a second faster than S2000 CR is just weird.

I have driven the new turbo cobalt ss... it is built no differently then my 03 cavalier from what I could tell. It was fast, but didnt feel fast. It wasnt fun at all. I could never spend that kind of cash for such an econo box.

I have driven the solstice GXP... it didnt feel fast, and it was built as well as my 03 cavalier also. Just felt cheap and crappy. I didnt feel any connection with the road. I didnt give me that excitement a roadster should give me. It felt fake.

I drove an s2000 in vegas (the yellow dream car rentals S2000).... now I own one... S2000 is the best fun for your buck hands down. It may not be bang for your buck... but I rate fun as top notch.

The Mugen Si has been shown to be as quick or quicker than the S2000 on tracks, but finished almost dead last here. Similar surprising results for the aforementioned cars too.

Well, it seems like a 4.2 mile road course where a viper can hit 152 on the second fastest section seems to dictate that horsepower be a main factor in lap times. Just saying.
