Owned -- I'll stick to notable cars
'89 CRX - First foray into Hondas, eventually built it up to 200whp NA, 9500rpms, track prepped, good good fun
'04 S2000 - What a machine. Kept it basic mods, there's not much it couldn't do -- hunting down Corvettes with a stock HP s2000 was always comical
'07 Noble M400 - There's few cars that can outrun it. Even fewer that are as agile. For the price of a Cayman, you get Hypercar performance, with Delorean reliability.
'02 Superformance S1 - Essentially a fancier Caterham. Every car enthusiast should own a Lotus 7 (or replica) at some point in their life. There's nothing else quite like the driving experience.
Want To Own
Gen 5 Viper ACR - Almost as fast as the Noble, but more sensible and comfortable. Looks amazing and not as common as Porsches at track days.
Porsche 911 (993) - Because, why not?
Ultima GTR - LS6 package, sequential gearbox, and go rip faces off. Would be so amazing, despite being an instant death trap.

Past - way too many... Maserati, Alfa, Jaguar, Mercedes, Lotus, Toyota, Subaru, and Honda for in the last 20 years.
Currently own an Aston Martin Vantage, Jaguar XE, and Volvo S60
Future - I plab buy an Aston Martin Rapide S, Ferrari California, or Bentley Mulsanne. Should have one of them by the summer. Would love to own a Rolls Royce or McLaren someday...

After the Biturbo, nothing can't be that bad! As long as the dealer is near by. In all seriousness, none were so bad except for the Biturbo and a MB 500 SEC (I think '85). That was a grey market model with all AMG crap on it. Was an expensive one to repair. We had for about 15 years.

I have owned a ton of cars but I will only mention the ones that I have affection for and miss after I sold them:
1981 Honda Prelude
1984 Mazda Rx7
1991 Toyota Mr2 Turbo
2001 Honda S2000
2014 Porsche Cayman S (still have)
All manuals.
I'd like to add some combination of two of these to the Cayman:
A Guilia Quadrafoglio
BMW M2
Golf GTI/R
Jeep Wrangler
Mazda CX5
2012-14 SLK 55 AMG
Miata RF
I don't list anything that is hyper exotic or over 100k because I am trying to be realistic in what I could buy.
