Default Cayenne available with manual..
So I was unaware but I saw this Cayenne GTS with a 6 speed and got to wondering if there are any other 'premium' or 'performance' SUVs that offer manual gearboxes. The manual is available on the base and GTS but the Turbo and Turbo S are not.

If I am not mistaken, they created a trim lvl of the Cayenne just for the purpose of adding the 6 speed. It is a wonderful thing. I remember with the first generation X5, I think they used to offer a 6 speed with the 6 cylinder model as an option. It is a hard to find thing, however.

I have been looking for a fun to drive SUV and I really want to try the Cayenne 6sp but can't find a used one to test.

I know a person buying a GTS probably don't care about MPG, but you should know what you're getting into.

just found out the Acura TL SH AWD IS avail with 6 speed MT. So is the TSX

Driven an X3 with a manual gearbox. The Cayenne Turbo I'm driving is an auto. Shame.
