Nothing is fitted right. The space between everything was off from a 1/16 to an 1/8 or more between the hood trunk doors, everywhere.

It was very badly put together.

I mean very badly.

not impressed at all

Personally, I choose cars based on how they drive, not on 1/16" panel gaps.

Well, if it's built like any other GM, panel gaps would be the last thing I worry about. The car will soon leak all kinds of fluid onto your garage floor.

Each to their own, If I saw that and I was in the market, I wouldn't bother driving it. I'd be afraid that level of quality was throughout the car.

It was really bad. If you'd seen it you'd understand.

Careful fltsfshr, there are some dedicated Solstice fan boys on here. I had to learn the hard way. Put your suit on.

I've only seen one at 50/50 (50 feet, 50mph) and was amazed at how great the car looked. But if they can't get the gaps right, how messed up are the things that you can't see?

I saw my first Solstice with a top up on Sunday - it kind of reminded me of a land crab in my rear view mirror, don't know why - they def look better top down.

OMG NO the SOlstice is the balls OMG it will save GM GM is the shit they make the best cars you're just a Japcar fanboyyyyyyyy!!!!!

Currently, on Solsticeforum.com, there is a thread where they are beating each other off about how the Solstice is the same as the 64 1/2 Mustang, and just as important, and they are planning how they will spend the gazillions of dollars they make selling the Solstice in 40 years.

I'm the lone voice of dissension (reason?) that thinks that a Solstice will be a car for a person who's too quirky to buy a classic Miata (for $5k in today's money). If they even last 40 years.
