my point is, we have those people. The fact that we have others who don't worship blindly at the altar of JDM doesn't change that.
Yeah, we have those people. But this board doesn't exist to worship the S2000 and Honda and slam or belittle all else. We have a much more balanced view here, whereas that board seems to exist to PROMOTE and DEFEND the Solstice, rather than be interested in an balanced view from car enthusiasts. We have a lot of CAR enthusiasts here. They mostly have SOLSTICE (or GM) enthusiasts there. There is a HUGE difference.

You obviously weren't here in the early days!! Also, if you venture far from car talk be ready to laugh at the fanbois. It's pretty bad. The racing and competition forum is pretty damn safe, but other then that....

You guys actually believe ANYTHING car-related in Consumer Reports?

That's like asking your priest what the best scotch is.

You haven't listened to the news in the past ten years (or century). Priests know which condoms are best....and which altar boys are, too.

You can hang the tail out at 15mph in the Miata all day long...for many, hanging the tail out in the S2000 turns into an expensive mistake (note the quote in my sig...)
Couldnt you achieve the same thing by putting 6-inch wide snow tires on an S2000? Sure, you would kill the high handing limits, but at least it would be more "fun".

No, the limits of the Miata are inherently simply more approachable. Less bumpsteer and less tendency to snap oversteer (Both things that Honda has adressed over the years).

Not exactly. We have quite a few people here who revel in bringing the fanbois back down to earth. At the Solstice forum, they ban or berate people who do that.
You have the most twisted perception of the world outside your own mind. It is as if whatever you chose to believe becomes reality for you. Truly amazing.
