Question Dash Cam Placement

I have seen older threads but they are outdated

For those of you who use Dash Cams, where do you place them?

When I purchased my S, I have my alarm guy install a dash cam and it works fine and all. However, now that the weather is getting warmer, the 3M tape is not holding up that great so I decided to take it down before it falls and breaks. Now I am trying to see where to put it.

Any suggestions/recommendations are highly appreciated

You might get more traction on the electronics forum, but you might want to try a suction cup mount instead of tape.

I mount mine as high and as centered as I can, while still allowing you to remove the unit or eject the SD card without having to move the rear-view mirror. In other words, right by the rear-view mirror.
