is Dec. the best month to lease a new car?
although i dont follow lease deals very closely, but some lease deals on TV look pretty darn cheap. is December traditionally the best time to lease a new car? or is it b/c the auto industry is still not doing well? it'll be good to know for a possible future lease!

There are some good lease deals out there. Make sure you pay attention to the down payment required. $200 for 18 months is a lot different than $200 for 18 months with a payment of $2,499 required up front. Not too long ago they had several economy cars for $16x a month with very little down. Going to be almost impossible to beat that if you are buying new and still close financially if you are buying 2-3 years old to save the most abrupt depreciation hit.
