Another one in the my list is the Mclaren SLR, I remember when these were going for close to $1 million when they came out (stupid price gouging dealers) now they sell them brand new for under MSRP, $330-360K (MSRP around $450K).

Cayenne Turbo ~$42k
911 C4S (but would wait for the 997s to come down)

- CTS-V 29-35K
- Jaguar Type-S R around 30K
- 01 - 03 M3 27 - 32K

I am going with a CTSV.

This is gonna sound really funny but I'm waiting for the S2000 to drop to $5000-$7000 for me to pick one up as a beater convertible. It beats getting a Miata.

The problem is cars that depreciate quickly do so for good reason.

The E55 AMG series is tempting, as are the last couple years of the Lexus GS series. I'm not much of a fan of the new ones although if/when the new LS gets cheaper I'll probably pick one up.

Yep, lost my arse on my 2006 M5. An 07 was sitting on the lot for $100k and they were offering me $60 for trade... Ouch.
