BMW 745i 02-04 - these go for roughly 25-35k depending on mileage
Nissan Maxima 02-03 w/ VQ35de and 6 speed 9k for what i think was the best FWD VQ35 car.
1998-2001 Infiniti Q45 (cima) and 03-05 M45 (Y34) the best VIP yakuza wannabe cars.

I've noticed the E39 M5 has held better value in comparison to the E60 M5s which are dropping like rocks.

This is gonna sound really funny but I'm waiting for the S2000 to drop to $5000-$7000 for me to pick one up as a beater convertible. It beats getting a Miata.

Also to add to the list the MY07 Exige S costs around 65K give or take but now only sells in the low 50's with a few thousand miles. And prices will be going down even more since the 08's will have minor changes and a bump of 20hp.

+1 on the A8, those cars drop like rocks, new are in the $80s while MY04s are going in the low $30s. S8 does a little better but are hard to find. Related to this car, I saw a MY04 Phaeton on a lot the other day for $25k. Yikes.

Cool thread! Here are my picks:
e60 M5
e39 M5
e38 740 Sport
e46 M3
RX-8
I'd love to pick up an e60 M5 and/or an e38 740 sport (in imola red) to add to my stable. That way I'd have the 740 for long car trips, driving around friends/family, etc. The M5 as my daily driver - I could haul ass, but still be relatively comfortable and have seating for 4. Turn the S2000 in to a stripped out race car for weekend and track events. My dream stable.
