Default Driving at the Nurburgring

Two month ago i visited the Ring.
This was my second time.
I did 11 laps with Rent4Ring's BMW 125i.

A video:

I would do this again and again.
Too bad it's quite expensive - those 11 laps costed me ~1,000 eur all included.

It's my favourite track in the whole world . I have yet to go in the S2000 (needs some proper suspension first), but I am a regular in my CSL .

I avoid the public days, as they are an absolute nightmare (mixing it with bikes and coaches is not my idea of fun) so now do just the trackdays. Been going since 2001 .

Here is one of my vids in the Bimmer as well (traffic and 110kg passenger prevented a sub 8 BTG on the first lap and running low on fuel and subsequent fuel surge meant the second had to be cut short) :

Ring was fun but you really need to drive it a lot to know where you're going. I did a few laps in my F80 M3 on euro delivery and I took it pretty easy. Honestly I thought Spa was 10X better as a race track, ring is just a bucket list item.

Yep I don't think Spa would be as fun in a slow car, too many high speed sections.

When you rent, absolutely.

I rented a Lotus Exige S240 when I went... I believe it was a total of $1500. Completely worth it and I'd do it again.

Spa is great fun whatever you're in:
