Most auto journalists don't have a lot of positives to say about these either. They didn't like the lack of storage (though S2K is just as bad), bad ergonomics (window controls and seat controls), and an unappetizing sound. It's still a good looking car and should still sell well. You can't ask GM to hit a grand slam, much less an 8-run homer...

it doesn't surprise me that you say it's not well built. i just sold a z06 because i was tired of the shitty build quality. the only good thing about it was the engine and handling. the rest of the car was pure crap.

flame away.
That reminds me I was washing my S Tuesday evening and my neighbor came over and we were talking after I finished drying the car and I forget exactly what started it but I said the Corvette people do not understand what the S2k is !
And out of the blue he said a lady he works with has a 03 Vette convertible and it has been in the shop 5 times while she has owned it . He said not only that but it was ugly yellow. Piece of junk in his opinion .
As it said in the X Files "The truth is out there"

If you really think that the S2000 is just as bad as the sky or solstice on storage space, you need to go check out one of those cars. Pretty much no trunk at all with the top down and not much of one with the top up. The S2000 actually has a pretty decent amount of storage for what kind of car it is and how big it is.

You can't fit ANYTHING in the solstice, you'd be lucky to fit on golf club in that thing. I hope those people never plan on going anywhere that they need luggage, if so they'd better be able to hold it all on there lap or ride with the top up ! (that by the way takes forever to put up and down) Not a bad looking car (from the outside) but GM should have worked on it a little while longer ... But Definitly NOT the car for me !! I'll keep the S2
