Even a FI integra would be more boring to drive than a completely stock s2000, simply because you cannot put the top down in a Integra.

More torque than an S2000...what?
you know how torquey that 1.8 is and all

seriously though, it was probably just a product of the shortened gears making you think the motor had more low end grunt.

I like how "he did all of the stuff to it except FI" means I/E and a shorter FD.

bolt on parts with no motor work is highly modified? am i missing something? back in the day (i'm taking only 5-7 years ago), youd have to have a built motor to even be considered moderately modified. a bolt on greddy turbo kit wouldve been a lightly modded car.

He rebuilt the motor himself. . .did some stuff to it to improve the engine performance but I'm not sure exactly what ? ? ? I can ask.

He had a turbo on it too a while ago (or maybe a supercharger) but he took that off. . . .does all the work himself. . . can't remember.

It's mostly his track car. . . writes for some of the tuning rags. . .

Drives a highly modified 2008 S2000 as his daily ride and also has a "spare" AP1 stock that is mint in his garage.

He just bought a lotus elise and is starting to work on that one too . . . he got his wife a honda odyssey and then tune it and lowered it. . hahaha but dang, believe it or not its kinda nice. . . put all sorts of mugen stuff on it that he got from japan . .
