Eco-Tuning: Tommy Kaira Spruces Up 2010 Toyota Prius Hybrid

Just in time for next month's Tokyo Auto Salon 2010, Japanese tuning house Tommy Kaira has finalized its aero and performance offerings for the latest generation Toyota Prius hybrid.

Exterior appointments come in the form of new alloy wheels in sizes 16- and 18-inches, and an aggressive aero kit with parts that are available in carbon fiber, painted in the same color as the car or in a matte black finish.

The bodykit includes a front spoiler, grille trim, decorative trim for the front bumper, side skirts, roof spoiler and a rear apron with an integrated diffuser that houses four tail pipes.

i like the prius.. its a nice car, but deep down i wouldnt mind an Insight.

Speaking of Hybrids... with the Civic hybrids on sale in the USA... are they genuine hybrids like the Prius and Insight?

Oh, the irony of a Prius being covered by Torque magazine.

OK, but that's like saying that Rosie O'Donnell could beat up Clay Aiken - what's your point?

My point is what I said. It still generates more tq than the car that this board is dedicated to.

And for the Rosie comment, I'd be willing to put my money on Clay. He gets it up the butt so he'd be able to take on Rosie

It's not as good as fishing.

What's the point in modding ur prius with design elements inspired by wasteful racing.
