keep the miata, A civic with FWD will never tickle your fancy as a lightweight RWD miata will, Also have you considerd going with a form of FI, save up a couple grand and buy a used turbo kit im sure their are plent out their

your miata is gourgeous - i think i was following you at streets of willow about 3 months ago during the time attack, you were doing 1.38's
if i could not have the S, a miata would be my next choice.

By request here is a picture of my Miata. Its been an awesome car for a young guy like me to learn the basics of cars on. Its really a pleasure for me to be able to learn maintenance and get into doing minor engine and suspension mods with a car that is so easy to work on.
I was just thinking I could have a similar fun experience doing an engine swap in a civic.
After all I guess I should let my imagination stop running so wild and be happy with my Miata... it suits my tastes pretty well really. Thanks for all the responses guys!

Given that you're probably not talking about an 06 Si or anything the miata is the way to go.
Just for pure fun value anyway. It maintains good build quality and decent fuel economy, it's ragtop which is great, the trunk isn't THAT bad
Another vote for the miata.... VERY big props to those

Tune your roadster. If you could afford an 06 Si, you could probably get your hands on an S2k. If that was the case you'd be posed with more of a dilemma. Being that that's not the case, more pics please....?
