Default Exhilirating vs. Refreshing

Somebody in another post referred to one of the reviews that called the S2K "always exhilirating, never refreshing." OK, I agree about the exhilirating part, but what car out there is "refreshing" to drive? Anybody have examples/opinions?

"Refreshing", I think, was referred to being comfortable.

I interpret "refreshing" as a nice change from the usual "ho-hum", mundane and ordinary things I usually experience.

w/ xviper. Sometimes we forget how good we have it. Having had to drive a dozen or so rental cars in recent months, I'm always looking forward to coming back to my S. The suspension is nice and tight, steering is precise and the engine is responsive. Very enjoyable to drive and certainly refreshing! And if you logged any track time, you'll probably add exhilirating to the list

Well, it is hard to say. Refreshing usually is used in reference to another car.

Say...you drive a Camry. A mazda6 might be a "refreshing" drive compared to the bland driving delivered by the camry.

refeshing? hm... i think refreshing would be not being able to drive you car and being stuck with something else. then you finally get to drive your car again. that would feel refreshing for me.

example: family trip to the keys. rental car = dodge caravan. i had to drive it around. after a week of it and getting back home it was incredibly refreshing to drive my car again.
