If you ask me proper oil filters are at the front of the motor and on top.

i have a dodge. easy as hell to change the oil. Only problem is that it take 10 quarts of synthetic!

My subaru is by far the easiest car to change oil on.

Changing the oil filter in the S is a breeze, especially if the car doesn't have the stock intake box anymore. The filter is just in plain sight and sort of within reach.

You sound like you need to get laid.

Seriously, a friend tells me he has to remove the front wheel to reach the oil filter on his Civic Si. Does that mean F-Honda too?

And what's a so-called car enthusiast doing @ Jiffy Lube anyway?
yeah, absolutely retarded. My ep3's filter was under the header, had to jack up the car and really crawl under there and get it... Then try not to get oil on urself.

This thread is a tribute to Chrysler engineering. Do you think there's any connection between the well documented design mediocrity and Chrysler's precarious existence on the edge of oblivion for the past 30 years. The idiots got what they deserved. I just wish the damned government would unplug the artificial life support on the morons and let the brain dead patient fade into Hell where they belong.

Now Fiat is coming to the rescue........Fiat!

So the company that arguably brought about the SUV craze and without a doubt changed the automotive landscape with the invention of the minivan, was one of the first to go to all uni-body designs back in the 60's, was the first company to have their own wind tunnel and use aerodynamic concepts in design back in the 30's has "design mediocrity" eh?

I don't recall the 1930s being 30 years ago.

Touche. Still, the company has a history of design innovation even if they did bring us the K car.
