no. That's so ridiculous. Nice of you to comment on how hard it was. Sliding doors or go home. You can make a lot of stuff work, but that doesn't mean it was easy. Compared to what?

Yes, people have "struggled" for so long to use a standard sedan with car seats... 
Pretty much anything Civic-sized is going to handle child seats without issue. Wide doors, easy access, certainly not "tight" back there. Is it easier in a minivan (which we now have)? Sure. But it's not HARD to do in a Civic.
