I was thinking the EXACT same thing. As a dog owner, that was my first thought since the poor dog would not have any real understanding of what was happening.

Modern German high performance sedans ARE tanks. I can tell you from experience from having (2) M3s and currently having an E63 AMG, the cars just 'feel' more solid than anything you can imagine. The thing will run 186 mph and feels glued to the road. The safety of the E63 AMG is one of the main reasons I bought it. When my daughter was born, I wanted the safest car money could buy.

Probably some dumbass American tourist that merged and went straight to the left lane. That seems to be the MO for most idiots I see on the highways in this country.

First thing I learned when driving in the left lane on the autobahn is you drive looking out of your rear view mirrors 75% of the time watching for this guy in the M5...and then get right as soon as you do!

Glad everyone is OK amazing that the passenger capsule is relatively holds the same shape and isn't completely crumpled!
