First time driving manual car.

Hello everyone. I am not really new to Honda forums, just migrating. It all started with My 8th Gen Accord Coupe, on driveaccord forum. I got it only 1.5 year ago and yesterday I said good bye to it. I traded 2010 for 2000 s2000 ap1. It was my dream car and at age of 19.. I made.

Here is my question to you guys and ladies. This is my first Manual Car, my Accord was auto. I am only learnig how to drive manual. By my self, 2 3 4 5 6 it's all fun. BUT that 1st gear I am learning On Stage 3 Competion Clutch. Previous owner just dropped it in like 100 miles ago. So I also got to break it in. I need your advice.

What would be best strategy for stage 3 clutch for Someone who newer drivin manual before?

It's my daily, so I got plenty to experiment.

Go a few times with someone who can drive a manual. Even though it may be a beefy clutch, you can wear it out fast if not careful

Agreed with above. Certain things are virtually impossible to teach over the net with typed words. Need to see and feel how the clutch is and how you handle the clutch.
good luck and have fun.

Big school or church parking lot for practice. Like riding a bicycle this will become second nature after a while.

Watch a few youtube videos and just avoid grinding or high rev first gear starts.

First gear. lLet the clutch out slowly and you should see the RPM drop, when you see it dropping give it gas lol

Practice, practice, practice. Get a feeling. Shifting: "You start with the clutch, you end with the clutch" my driving teacher told me many years ago.

Second the school parking lot.

Make sure its the weekend and not 2;15pm

Well, everything about that clutch is unfriendly for a normal driver, so congrats there...

You need to learn how the clutch engages. Find a parking lot, and don't even bother with the gas pedal, just practice slowly getting the car moving with the clutch pedal and slow engagement alone.

Are those an "on-off" quick grabbing clutch? The OEM S2000 clutch is so easy to use.
