So cool.

There was a production GTX for sale a couple weeks ago as well. I think I'd rather have this over a Murcielago roadster - 'just cause'.

Very hot car and I love the Ford GT but I would be scared to own one. My mechanic told me quite a few horror stories about the only 'authorized' Ford GT dealership in town and how completely inept they are in regards to the GT. Before they went nuts with Joes twin turbo GT (now replaced with a Ferrari)...they took it in to have some items warrantied and the Ford mechanics were just lost when it comes to that car. I can only imagine that it would be worse with a customized variant of the car. The price of this one would also be a sticking point...I'd be hard pressed to buy this over a lesser performing and much cheaper F430.

about rarity for me.....

Perhaps the fact it was turbo'd played a part in all the trouble?

Just find an experienced performance shop. Probably less chance of it getting a joy ride in it.

beautiful car. I heard that the guy that did the conversions didn't do a great job and that he went out of business/stole money and a few cars were left partly completed and other's went back to their owners untouched but minus what they paid to get them done.

No, they took it in prior to doing all the work so there would be no hassle in getting the work done. They tried to charge a ridiculous fee for an issue that was a TSB on the car and weren't entirely sure how to remove the door panel. I would hope that level of incompetency isn't the norm but I wouldn't bet my six figure car on it.

Low and LOUD. I like it alot. I wonder why they wanted to make 100 cars for SEMA? That just seems like an odd goal.
