without a doubt, the wickedestness mustang that i would buy apart from the previous gen Boss 302. Check out this excellent review on motor trend channel. This mustang is not for everyone-but everyone thinks they want one- "look how big my c-ck is- i mean, i'm still 300 lbs but i have a big c-ck". The problem is the rich guys in hawaiian shirts think they'll be worth tonnes more in 20 years at barrett jackson. Dealer premium? suck it dealers- but supply demand and all that bull shit means dealer premiums. Ok, i'll get off my soap box- i'm just green with envy. A really nice local guy i know bought one to replace his 2012 shelby and he drives it everywhere so i get to see it nearly every day.

8200 rpm! in a V8!

You and me both. I'm getting awfully tempted. I need to finish remodeling the house and it might be game on. I'd take this thing over anything under 150k due to that motor. At MSRP it is worth every cent.

Who would've thought that ford would deliver an 8k recline v8 in a capable package. Wish it came in silver though.

Rumors galore but there's murmurs that the mach1 will get the voodoo motor in a more pedestrian package, so think gt track pack with voodoo motor for a bit less money. Sign me up for that too.

Dude, don't tell me that.
I may be buying a Ford then.

If so the Mach 1 would have to be very close in price I would think. Regular GT loaded is over 40k and GT350 starts around 47k I think.

A reg gt with performance package is 35 and change, the Shelby base is pretty much a track pack because its own track pack has even more stuff, granted the standard cloth seat is the optional recaro, but the Shelby starts at 49, so of its 40 42 base that should work out, and keep in mind it won't have the flared body panels.

I got my base 16 GT with performance pack for 32.8k out the door brand new. I've really been considering the upgrade to GT350 but the price difference there are a ton of mods I can do. I think a centri blower would be great on this high revving engine!

With you, but it still won't be that glorious voodoo. The resident Stang nut in the office says for $7500 the GT motor can become a voodoo. I'd rather just get it that way from the beginning.
Ford must know a bunch of us are lusting but 60k (with tech pack) with TTL is more than we want to spend. It's worth it, but my house is eating my discretionary currently.
