The two cars I've had that spent the most time in the dealers shop?

1. 2000 Honda S2000. Only owned it 2.5 years but it spent weeks in the shop.

2. 1985 Corvette. I thought it was a lemon but it didn't have nearly as many problems as the S2000.

I would buy an S2000 or a Corvette again and remain fans of both.

[QUOTE=Yellow_S,Dec 3 2008, 02:25 AM] Yeah, I'm sure the Fusion is very exciting.

I could give a crap how reliable the Camry is,
But millions of owners worldwide do.

FACT: the Camry has always been one of the most reliable cars ever made. Yeah, it doesn't drive like a Ferrari, but so what? End of discussion!

And there are millions of owners of other cars that think otherwise. It works both ways. Because the Camry has traditionally been considered the "most reliable car" does not mean that is so now. That's flawed logic. You're assuming because something has traditionally been considered a certain way for a long period of time, that same thing must of course be that now. That doesn't necessarily have to be the case. American car companies made the prettiest everyman cars from the 1940 through the early 70s. Then that changed. Toyota is not invincible, nor is the Camry.

And again, nobody was crying about the flaws in JD Powers' reliability studies when Camry was winning, yet they bitch now when Ford is. Seems a bit opportunistic to me.

most camry drivers (and accord drivers for that matter) don't even understand reliability.
Yeah, I'm sure I'm in that group too. But what do I know, as my Camry has never required any fix except oil and tire changes?
