Future S2K owner, in a competition w/ my current 135

I gotta say beemer owners don't scare me, I raced a 135 vert a while back and kept my nose on his door without a 6k launch. This either means the 135's aren't fast or the owners can't drive.

Quick search says they weigh 3600 lbs with 0-60 in 5.5 and 13.8 in the quarter (inside line). I thought they were a little faster than that and didn't know they weighed that much. I'm sure the coupe would've walked away from you though.

Nah. The vert is more like 3500 lbs. And certainly not half a second slower. Even a Vert 135i should walk an S2000 easily, stock vs stock. It's got roughly 280 whp bone stock.

According to edmunds.com the 135i vert weighs 3638, the coupe weighs 3373. And the general consensus is a rwd vehicle will lose 15-20% so it should put around 240-255 rwhp on the average dyno. If they are dyno'ing at 280 rwhp then that dyno is off or they are using a lot of corrections. Since both vehicles have a very close power to weight ratio they would be very close (coupe).

Haha, I love you Gigdy

Ehh I actually feel I have been pretty active for being on a forum of a car I don't. I mean it's really not THAT important to me, however I'd love to win a $250 shift knob for free.
