Gasoline and diesel
Hello everyone, just got a question regarding to fill gasoline in a diesel car??
my fd just fill the gasoline on a diesel car, he only turn on the engine for about 3 seconds, then turn it off...............do any of you know what will happen? and what can he do to fix the problem..
he was initialy has about 1/5 tank of diesel and he jsut fill up to half tank right now
any suggestion will be great appreciate

I guess I'm surprised if the engine actually caught. Gasoline shouldn't ignite in a diesel engine.
I suspect he'll be okay if he just empties the tank and fills it up with diesel. The only potential problems I might anticipate would be in the fuel system. However, he should probably talk to someone who knows his specific car.
Now, diesel fuel in a gasoline car ... that would be much worse.
