Wow, just wow. f@#king speechless. What a well put together car in every aspect. Perfect combination of my AP1 S2000's rawness, handling, responsiveness, and 'go-kart' feeling with the horsepower and torque of my 6-speed TL... and dat sound. Holy f@#k the exhaust note is amazing. I thought my S2000 with 3" HKS exhaust + 3" high flow cat was good... But the S50 just sounds like heaven.

The previous owner spent a lot of time and money on this car and getting it well sorted, and has basically upgraded everything on it: every bushing, sway bar, mount, all of the suspension, SS brake lines, custom intake, custom exhaust, tune, wheels, CF hood, some Style 5 wheels... just EVERYTHING. It was everything I expected and more. For the right price, too.

Spent today cleaning the interior, using Lexol on the seats, door panels, and the dash. Tomorrow I'll wash the engine bay, the car itself, check the air filter, and maybe order some Meguiars M105 and M205 so I can get to work on refreshing the clearcoat on the paint with my Porter Cable DA oribital polisher.

I've always thought the e36 M3's w/ an exhaust (the s50) has to be one of the best sounding engines. Congrats!

very jealous. i assume its the s50 with 240 hp. it looks like its in great condition. if its the euro s50 with 321 hp, i'd be very jealous

Love it! I've been on the e30 boat for a while now. Out of curiosity, how much did you pay for it?

I didn't really know what to expect, but it truly is. It is so aggressive and mean sounding. The E46 M3's S52 sounds like a Civic with a raspy fartcan in comparison (well, it sounds like that even without a comparison.)


Yeah, US S50B30. The S50B32 Euro motor is a f@#king monster, I'd love to have that. I'm putting down about 220~ whp, about 50 whp less than the Euro does stock. With a 3.5 HFM, bigger throttle body, and cams + retune I could probably put down right around 250-260 whp.


Funny that you ask. One of the moderators at R3vlimited just asked me how much I bought it for, as he just sold his S50 swapped E30 a month ago for about $11.5k.

When I told him I paid $9400, he was amazed since the car has had about $18k worth of work put into it, and because it had more done to it than his E30 that went for $2k more. I'd say the car is easily worth $12-13k.

I got an absolute steal in my book!
