One day 20 some odd years down the line when I can finally import this thing into America... I will have myself a spec V. But won't be able to afford brake pads

Real enthusiasts would use Nokians
i can't wait for the new hakka 7 to come state side. it is supposed to put the hakka 5 to shame, and with the new stud tech be almost as quiet as a regular tire when there is no snow on the ground.
oh and spec-v FTMFW. only one rule. never ever let your pads go metal on metal. cause paying for rotors is going to be big bucks.

I saw a "regular" GT-R here in St. Augustine this weekend, black, definitely an aftermarket exhaust, being driven a _little_ too fast for the area, but anyway...
The car does have an amazing amount of visual impact. It's big, wide, weird, angular in odd spots, lots of interesting details. It really looks like nothing else on the road (other than some of the obvious DNA shared with other Nissan products).

I wonder if that thing can use its launch control without self destructing like the regular GTR or did they castrate this one too? Either way, I'd like to beat the crap out of it for a while.
