They’re kinda understeery at least with the alignment or specs from factory. The power and torque of the 135i is way more than I could ever use on the street. With the BRZ I felt like the on ramps were like an autocross. The sales guy was cool. He’s an auto-x guy and was egging me on to get the rear loose. The limits of the 135i are so high there’s no way I would do that on the street. At times I miss the torque but for me Miata, BRZ, and S2000 are much better cars for the driving I do. Maybe with lighter wheels, M3 bushings and control arms thare 135i is transformed. That’s basically a budget 1M which people rave about. If I did 135i again I’d do those kinds of mods and not the power mods I did.

Fair points, I just found the engine to be a huge letdown. I think if it were my only car that I dd itd be acceptable, but as a weekend car it just didnt do it. The handling is awesome though and just darting around town was fun it.

I wonder where the counter article is for - "guy gets dumb, trades reliable s2000 for broken M5 needing over $15k in maintenance".

the BRZ engine isn’t great. That’s why I got an S2000. Also I like convertibles.
