Help me find a daily driver

Indeed. I have had my S2000 for just a week but the Cobra now feels like a Crown Victoria from a size perspective. I think it is really cool to have a rumbling V8 or a high revving canyon carver at my disposal. The Cobra is certainly easier on my back.

You say the S2k is too exhausting on the highway (I agree, I used mine as a DD for 2-3 years) but then picked pretty much the most similar cars possible as alternatives, including another S2000. If I were you, I'd do what other people suggest and get something more different.

After the problems I had with my RS, in addition to a recalled head gasket, I'm not going back to that brand.
I think I may tough it out for the new ND to come out and get the new engine.

Sorry for the lack of replies. I'm not ignoring any of your opinions at all.
I'm currently hiking in Norway until next weekend, but when I get back I'm going to do some research on all of your suggestions. Thanks again!

I think alot of people here think you want something of a more traditional DD, but it sounds like you were happy with the s2000 as a DD until it became a track prepped car. And it sounds like you want another convertible. So I'd day get the nd.
I honestly think the gti 5 door is the DD king, but if you find the RS boring then that's out.

If you're buying an ND new, wait for a few months. They're bringing a new engine to the table with 181 hp (instead of 155 hp). You probably won't want to buy the lesser-powered one, even if the deals on it are very good these days...

Not buying new, have my eyes on a used 2016 club.
I'd want the new engine, but I'm not looking to spend ~32k. I think for daily duties the current motor will do just fine.
