Honda Sport EV Concept
This thing looks cooler to me than any sports car concept I've seen in a LONG time
Cab-rearward proportions strongly suggest rear-wheel-drive...

Looks like a modern nissan 240z to me...
They also say that it is “a concept model which combines EV performance and AI (artificial intelligence) inside a compact body with the aim to realize the joy of driving the user can feel with a sense of unity with the car.”
Sorry but a car without a huge amount of technology is what actually makes me feel closer to the car.
Hard pass on this one.

K24 it?
I'd say F20 it but they're getting hard to find and expensive.

If it had a peppy powertrain (less than 6 seconds to 60) decent range (over 120 miles) and was priced reasonably (less than $40 k loaded) I'd buy one for commuting. I think it looks cool.

More importantly I like the design ethos direction they're going.

Rightfully so, the Urban EV concept got almost universal praise for it's design but this Sports EV seems to be very polarizing. I've seen a lot of comments that hate the design. I wasn't completely sold on it's looks at first either, but it's definitely growing on me already and it's been less than a day.
Above all, i like that the EV route gives Honda a reason to make clean and smooth designs. Cars are too busy, angular and vent-y these days, especially Hondas.
I won't say too much about the "sport" element, considering the CR-Z was supposed to be a sport hybrid wasn't it? If Honda can make the range on their EV line worthwhile with these clean designs, i think they will sell decently.

Well, with multiple legislative authorities stating that non-electrified vehicles will not be able to be sold within their jurisdiction in the future, perhaps that's what's stopping Honda from working on too many new petrol-only vehicles.

And that explains their horrible styling of late how exactly?
The banning of ICE powered vehicles is 8-10 yrs away at a minimum for anywhere, and most of the places that have been in the headlines don't even have anything official yet. Just "planning" or "considering".
